On Wednesday, 8 of August, the DG of Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Babatunde Irukera and NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control), clamped down on one of Lagosians' sweet tooth favourite store, Krispy Kreme, Victoria Island after it discovered upon inspection that the company extended the expiry date of its donut mix and fillings.

This discovery is coming after the company celebrated its 81st anniversary worldwide.
