Just In: No more ‘Tinny Entertainment’ as Rapper YCEE officially confirms exit from the music label -Newslanded


Nigerian rapper and songwriter Oludemilade Martin Alejo, popularly known by his stage name YCEE has now officially confirmed the speculations surrounding his exit from the music label Tinny Entertainment that brought him mainstream success after serving for so many years.

Following his engagement with Tinny, Rapper YCEE floated to the mainstream in 2015 with his Condo Single which featured Patoranking and he has since followed heavier singles like Jagaban, Omo Alhaji, Link Up, Juice etc.

YCEE who rose to limelight after one of his singles titled “Condo”, which features vocals from Patoranking, earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards made this known on his Twitter page earlier today, January 14, 2019 in response to a fan who asked if he was still signed to the label.

YCEE was born in Festac Town, a town in Lagos State, Nigeria, where he completed his basic education at Dr. Soyemi Memorial Nursery and Primary School.

He went on to complete his secondary education at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Ojo. He is currently studying Marine biology at the University of Lagos.
