Forbes magazine has released the 2018 list of the richest man in africa, with Nigerian business magnate Alhaji Aliko Dangote retaining the number one spot for the 7th year in a row with $12.2 billion dollars.
The rating magazine reports that Folorunsho Alakija’s net worth dropped due to a decline in the value of one of Nigeria’s most productive oil fields.
Mike Adenuga, the owner of Globacom, emerged Africa’s 5th richest man. He is worth an estimated $9.2 billion.
