Former American supermodel and TV personality, Tyra Banks has shut down claims by Canadian supermodel Winnie Harlow that the hit reality series America's Next Top Model did nothing for her career.
Harlow made the comment back in May when she was asked about her career, she had said,
"It really started after the show, cause that didn't really do anything for my career. It doesn't do anything for any model's career, realistically".
At the time, Harlow even said that a photographer named Nick Knight found her photos online and the shoot she did with him went viral and started her career.
However, during an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, 45-year-old Banks shut down the claims when she was asked what she thought about Harlow's comments, with Cohen mentioning she made those comments on his show in May.
"Did she say that? I discovered her on Instagram," Banks who is the producer of America's Next Top Model said with a smile. "Well, I discovered her on Instagram, and she's on this show, so what do you think that means?"
