President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, officially commissioned the new International Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The terminal which will process about 15 million passengers annually, according to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), costs a total of $600million.
This was made known by Hadi Sirika, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Aviation. according to him, it was implemented through a $500million loan from China and Nigeria is providing counterpart funding of $100million.
