Liverpool land in the last 16 of the ongoing UEFA champions league competition after beating Napoli by a lone goal to one at Anfield yesterday during their last group stage match.
Napoli who needed just a draw from the tie then began to pour forward in search of the equalizer but Liverpool held on and would have their shotstopper, Allison Becker, to thank for keeping the visitors at bay to ensure their 5th successive win at Anfield in the competition – their best run at home since the CL was introduced.
In one of his amazing saves the Brazilian displayed great reflex to deny Napoli striker, Milik, with just seconds remaining to full time whistle from close range by tipping his goal bound effort round.
