France International, Oliver Giroud, was the hero for the Blues yesterday during their Europa league last group stage match against Hungarian side, Videoton, at MOL Aréna Sóstó.
With Chelsea trailing by two goals to one, the former Arsenal striker was sent into the fray and he didn’t disappoint as he forced the tie into a draw with a beautiful free kick. What made the free kick so special is that one of the opposition’s defender was right guiding the post and the ball still went pass him.
This has got fans reacting on social media as some have started comparing him to Argentina International, Lionel Messi, who is renowned for scoring wonderful free kicks.
