The ceremony was held recently in Lagos to the delight of guests and members of the press, who turned out for the show.
The president and co-founder of the glamorous modelling contest, Mrs. Augustina Okitiakpe was elated by the fact that the stunning beauty, who holds a degree in Political Science and who was the first runner up in 2017, would be continuing to uphold the legacy of carrying Nigeria’s flag high at the International finals coming up in Istanbul, Turkey.
She will also represent Nigeria at Face Of The World contest in Birmingham United Kingdom in 2019.
Nigeria has in the last seven years sent representatives to the International finals of Best Model of the World and this has greatly contributed to the development of the modelling industry in Nigeria and has indeed brought a lot of youths to the limelight of the modeling and entertainment industry in Nigeria.
The organisers, who were excited to see the brand grow over the years and fulfil some of its objectives of using the platform to create a vibrant modelling industry in Nigeria, producing super models of international standard, engaging Nigerian youths in productive ventures, used the occasion to thank all the notable individuals and corporate organisations that have supported the vision so far and appealed for more cooperation and partnership as she affirmed that there was a lot more to come.
