The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and 24 other political parties have endorsed Chief Adesunbo Onitiri as the consensus candidate for the Lagos Central Senatorial election in 2019.
The endorsement followed the approval by the National body of PDP, which also sent his name to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as its candidate for the Lagos Central Senatorial election.
In a related development, three groups have also thrown their weight behind the candidate, to work for him in his election bid.The groups, Council of Lagos State Indigenes, Eko Foundation and Omo Eko Pataki Group, promised to mobilise their members and other Lagosians behind Onitiri.
