Newslanded came across interesting photos of a
Muslim man observing his prayer time right in
front of a church banner oblivious of his
surroundings.
Nigeria is a country torn apart by religious
differences, so it's symbolic to see a Muslim man
sharing his 'personal space' and what could be called
a 'sacred moment' with a religious prop.
Given the rate of religious intolerance in Nigeria, it's
really 'rare' to see a Muslim seemingly ignoring his
surroundings and observing his salat (prayer) in front
of a banner announcing a church programme.
The man didn't seem to mind as he prayed to his
maker in the photos below:
